John and Liz Webster invite you to a Garden and Tea Party at Old Sock Cottage. All proceeds will be in aid of the SSCS Concert fund.

The afternoon’s entertainment will include an exhibition of Liz’s artworks (she is a member of the Yeovil Art Group). Framed and unframed art and correspondence cards will be available for sale at reduced prices and 50% of any sales will be donated to the SSCS. (There is absolutely no obligation to buy!)

A Plant Stall will also be provided for anybody who would like to offload any spare plants they have and maybe buy one or two for their garden.

Timing: Garden Open 2.30 – 5.00, Teas from 3.00 – 4.30

Entry Fee: £10 p/p, includes cream tea, with strawberries and cake.

John and Liz have lived at Old Sock Cottage since the year 2000.The garden at measures one acre in size, part cultivated and part semi-wild. There is a walled kitchen garden – John’s domain! There are level paths and benches to rest on in several different areas of the garden, and a flat paved terrace, but some of the paths near to the house are uneven, so care should be taken when walking on these.

Please park in the field next door (signposted) and not in the lane, as tractors are continually passing.

Please bring your own folding chairs as we will not have enough for everybody.

If you can contribute a cake or other item towards the tea table it would be very much appreciated, e.g. Coffee Cake / Victoria Sponge/ Fruit cake / Flapjacks, preferably on a plate and ready to serve. If you can bring a cake, please let us know  by email to lizwebster08@gmail.com by Sat. 20

June so that we can match supply to demand.
