Concert Notes

This spring’s concert is a tribute to the place that Austria holds in the history of classical music since the 18th century. We’re performing some short masterpieces by Joseph “Papa” Haydn, Anton Bruckner and Johannes Brahms (who was actually German, but who spent most of his working life in Vienna), and Mozart's miniature “Ave Verum Corpus”. Mozart also supplies the centrepiece of the concert – his unfinished and masterful “Requiem”. It’s bound to be an evening of great music!
